After death, you will be driving down rainbow road to the cosmic guardian Rosalina. If you fall off, your soul is reborn immediately. This is what happens when you do not finish your quests before dying. Otherwise, you will be going to the hub world, heaven, where you will be assigned a new world to live in. There are three tiers of worlds. There are low-tier, mid-tier, and high-tier worlds. Ours is a low-tier world. There are seven levels of souls. Level 1 souls are not able to finish their quest in this life and will have to be reborn. They are the animals and low intelligence humans of this world. Then there are level 2 souls who can finish their quest, who are the humans with partial free will and the intellect to grasp at these concepts. The level 3 souls are those who are new to the mid-tier worlds but still have to prove themselves or who are at risk of falling down due to their sins. Level 4 souls are the regular inhabitants of mid-tier worlds who are in the process of finishing their quests to level up. They live as companions to the higher level souls. Level 5 souls are the heroes and gods of the mid-tier worlds. Level 6 souls are those who are newly arrived in the high-tier worlds or who are at risk of falling down, level 7 souls are gods who are in full harmony with the cosmos. The high-tier worlds are unique in that they are areas where people are immortal, posess full free will and have the ability to freely travel between worlds.
