>>82058976I believe I have never had Chambord in my life.. what's it like?
I am a typical American wine drinker in that I'll go to the wine section of the grocery store and pick up the bottle that has a "90" or higher score and is under twenty dollars and on sale today. I've found a few nice wines that I remember (I suggest 'Tamarack Red' if you're anywhere near WA State) but I'd like to learn more about Italian and French wines and food pairings etc. I've been to vineyards a couple times with my parents and have really enjoyed the experience, but haven't come away with a lasting impression of like, do I prefer Syrah or Merlot?
I think I'd have to drink wine every day to get a really good feel for it, and I just don't have it that often - I have it a couple times a month.
