>for like 3 months I did drawabox and drawing on the right side of the brain excercises
>showed incredible discipline (for me), literally drew and practiced every day
>stop for some reason
>now it's been like 4 months without drawing

I don't understand how I could be totally disciplined for a long stretch of time, but now I keep telling myself I need to draw again because I feel empty without creating, but I haven't been able to will myself to actually do it

You can start again. even if you're a little shaky at first, you can get back on the level faster than you did initially.

Reward your habit so it can stick as a habit

You weren't creating anything, you were just practicemaxxing because you feel like you're not good enough to actually "make" anything so you took comfort in the grind of doing structured exercises indefinitely. Just install factorio and embrace autism

Art is the most oversaturated field even before AI. What's the point?

you have to draw with a purpose too anon. if you are just practicing the technical stuff its gonna be super boring. why did you want to learn drawing? do that. design characters if thats what you want. make cool anime landscapes and environments if you want. do the thing you want terribly and start improving.

this. its fine and good to do exercises but your brain lives off goals, not routines, so reward it by giving it victories to goals you set
