I've never used AI, I've only seen screenshots and it seems redundant and it has no memory of anything that was recently said. Until they fix that, I wouldn't use it either.
ASMR is alright, but they need better scriptwriters. When girls write their own material it's either uninteresting or really weird magic/science fiction stuff.

AI sucks, I just watch porn or romantic movies/anime depending on which kind of ersatz experience I'm trying to create. The only way I would want to use AI would be if it was like a totally customizable 3D perfect waifu character creation holodeck. Current tech just makes anime pictures that are worse than already existing art.

No because the only dedicated purchase for me was extra 64GB of ram to existing 64GB. There is no way I would buy an actual PC for current state of local models. If you want to see if it is worth getting started try deepseek R1 on open router or their own API first. Then get some DDR4 server board and a used 3090 or something comparable with at least 16GB of vram.

I once used character.ai and now I'm addicted to it. Maybe I've just degraded too much and now I'm satisfied with literally communicating with primitive code, but my brain can't figure it out and depends on ai like drugs.

GPT5 should have a positive affect on models, I think. However long it takes devs to make models with the new tech.
