>"And nobody can stop me!">>82077441The biggest flaws of the show that come to mind, is that it's very slice of life heavy, there is a lot of ongoing plot throughout the series, but it's still leaning heavily to a more episodic theme rather than a big huge steady plotline. There is some, but it's not really the main focus, rather an afterthought and add-on to a more episodic monster of the week-style of storytelling. It also lacks a long term main focus big bad villain, unlike the few digimon animes I've seen where you have a known villain and you're stopping that villain for 20+ episodes in a row. But it does keep the viewer guessing a little with tiny mysteries sprinkled all over here and there. But it's not a series with one big huge "main mystery" (kind of is but it's only touched upon in the last few episodes rather than being focused on for the majority of the show). Also it does not have much character development and growth when it comes to the main characters, they're "finished products" from the get-go, but it makes up for that in lots of character development of various digimon, both the main digimons and especially more random ones that still stick around, and other supportive characters. The show feels like the makers of it just had fun with it for 65 episodes and then realized oh no we need to wrap this up somehow in 2 episodes. Yet at the same time, the ending was not as bad and rushed as I had thought what it comes to animes ending like that. While not the best ending, it was not the worst either, I've seen plenty worse in series that felt way better than this, only to kinda drag down the overall series due to how bad the ending was. The ending does not drag down the rest of the show is the best way I can put it when it comes to the ending of GG
