The choice is obvious, the Lotus Sutra surpasses all the other religious scriptures because it says everyone will eventually be saved from the cycle of suffering and become a Buddha. Anyone can liberate themselves from the shackles of suffering by chanting the daimoku, Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo and the gongyo. Faith in the Lotus Sutra saved drug addicts, criminals, and terminally depressed people. How could it fail to save the lonely youth? If you place your trust in the teaching of the Lotus Sutra there is no obstacle that you will not overcome.

That depends entirely on your willingless to have faith in the Lotus Sutra. You can become a Buddha in this lifetime.
