the tragedy of the human condition is almost romantic sometimes. how we all hurt and hurt each other? that part sucks a lot. but trying, continuing, and wanting to find a happiness again. i want to believe people have good in them to do that, to reach that.. i want to believe in everyone's happiness.

Theres not really a human condition when we have a guy calling himself god making choices for us. Its pretty offensive actually which is why he tricks u into believing u did it on ur own. Becuz he often leads us to our doom on purpose. Becuz he has a nice racket here where he can have sex with virgins over and over and over as long as society doesnt completely crumble. The tragedy of the human condition lies in our inability to truly hold the divine with our own hands, our inability to escape our self-destructive nature, and our inability to justify the sin of our existence, all which is fated to be this way. The only way we can escape from this fate is through meeting one another, perhaps connecting along the way, and leaving something or someone behind for whoever needs them when you're no longer there.

Believing everyone has good in them requires faith. Believing that everyone, including yourself, can find happiness requires hope.

Believing in one doesn't lead to the other. Good people often struggle to find happiness in this world, and happiness can never truly come to everyone.

That is from an outsider perspective; from an insider perspective, it is your entire world crumbling from your inability to perform.
The human condition is about as sophisticated as a chimps condition. I've seen some shit. Shit happens for no reason at all. Shit happens because people feel like it. Horrible shit. This world is damned, but I hope the souls that reside in us all find peace.

The problem is, most humans are miserable and do not have their emotional needs met. There are some people whose "emotional needs" are inherently twisted like serial killers and are not compatible with civilisation, but for most its literally just lack of love from their own families and tribe. Evil is born of desperation, the despair over not being loved, either seeking validation at any cost or turning away from humanity altogether. When you are unloved and unneeded, you are in survival mode and kindness is just not something you can be bothered with, it becomes a huge disadvantage.

The core of tragedy of human condition is just how badly humans suck at being parents. We have developed so much intellectually and yet our approach to parenting is basically still the same as that apes have.
