I dont know how you can look at modern society and believe most humans are fundamentally good. It seems that humans, in general actually, will take up any opportunity to get one over on each other, via by lying, thieving, or even killing in extreme scenarios. Humans do a lot of killing actually. Including animals, many innocent animals that bother no one, such as Rhinos, and all the other animals that harm nobody. So no, I dont think humans are fundamentally good. I think thats retarded. I think the Christian worldview, that we are all born with inherited sin, is much more logical.

What's morally good is entirely subjective also, just because the belief that humans are morally good is wrong that doesn't mean that the Christian moral view is automatically correct.

I don't. The truth beyond what's in the bible (Which i agree with) is that we are literally the dominant apex predators of planet earth.

Beyond preying on our food we also prey on one another. When humand no longer need to hunt for food, you start hunting things like jobs, women, money, etc.

People out there are primarily looking to "use" you somehow, and not always in a corrupt manner. Businesses want to make money off of you, friends want to do fun stuff with you, partners want to start a family with you, parents want to see you succeed in life and be successful. This is fine but you must understand this.

In this current world that lives in a detached secular fashion you will be constantly surrounded by distractions and there will be smoke and mirrors everywhere.
