If AI turns out to be true super intelligence, then we might be zipping around space colonizing Earth like planets within our lifetimes. That's why I believe it is too good to be true.

>Colonizing space
Why? It's fucking boring out there, and dangerous. If humanity gets the good ending, we will probably lock ourselves in a VR utopia.

neither politics nor industry are advanced enough to accommodate that, we will be completely enslaved sooner than we'll actually colonize another planet

Why would be robots helping monkeys to colonize planets?

Stanislaw Lem had passage about super intiligence relationship.
Imagine you are super intiligence (human), and there is vastly inferior in intelligence spicies (ants). Why do you as humans dedicate your intellect and recources to serve ants? Building them habbitats and colonizing more and more Earth surface so ants can spread everywhere. Because why? Why as human you would want to serve ants.
This is the point that super intiligence has no reason to serve ants and ants have no way to control that super intiligence (imagine ants controlling human civilization, aren't happening).
