Can't survive off 1 income anymore unless the man is rich. She knows chances of marrying one is slim and competition is fierce, so she has to get a degree. It's that settling with a low income guy. Out of those choices she'd rather be alone making her own money. Dating is pretty bad for women too. Out of the viable options, every woman is competing with eachother. Fewer men than ever make enough money to raise a family, even fewer want to spend that money on raising a family. The ones with the money just have casual sex with many women.
