>>82087296>very mysterious (to me) space in the basement of a mallAs an X-er we had our High School prom there. Well, I did not go, but it was in the mall basement.
Its more expensive than renting a Church community room (which a Christian hating public school cannot do, I think) and its cheaper than renting a hotel-adjacent wedding reception venue.
I also went to a company Holiday party at the same mall basement.
The world needs a place for a 500 person party that's not super expensive. Sad to hear they got rid of it.
This is not unusual and I think pretty much every mall built in the 80s has something like this. There are three in my area, or within a 30 minute drive anyway.
