With the western world being in basically terminal decline and basically doomed to either collapsing or becoming a totalitarian hellhole for at least 70 years, whats really wrong with embracing a hedonistic life style? I feel like you may as well when today is the least bad day from here on basically every day.

I am leaving this site today, August 5th 2025. What a tremendous waste of time and energy. I will not read the replies to this thread. I am going, going, gone.

i accomplish nothing.
there is no hero's journey.
there is only stagnation and decay.
i refuse.
i will live a great and adventurous life.
you may give up, but i will not.
you say the world is in decline.
why not try and fight back?
do you give up simply because the odds are stacked against you?
i don't.
if i die fighting to change the world, than it will have been a better than a death after a life of nothing.
