I don't need it. I do like silence. Speedruns are simply low in the order of media by attention/effort required, so I do it more often to pass the time:

Not much to elaborate on. It just gives me an illusion that I'm hanging out with a friend or something.
I have no one to share my interests or chat with so it feels nice to pretend I have a friend.

Im bored and im lonely, thats why. No, I dont donate, never have never will. I also dont keep up as well with her, but I try to watch a full stream at least once a week. Admittedly at first I also "didnt get it" until I found this vtuber I liked, people external to it are under a few misconceptions "oh shes not gonna fuck/marry/suck you bro" yeah I know, obviously. But I still watch her because I like her, its that simple.

Last months have made me reconsider streamers in general though, first the roachking is clearly an Israel and glowie spokesman. Then vtubers, wew, a lot of shit has happened so far in 2025

As you can see, its a shitshow. But my quasioshi generally stays out of trouble, ignores drama and is quite good at keeping her private life private, so I dont get too Gosling'y with her, and she is unironically hardworking, well more than the average vtuber at least. She entertains me and I find her funny. Idk. But yeah, im lonely ig. Dont judge me..

Im just a bit defensive because this board and other anons act like watching streamers is the worst, when theyre in discord servers full of e-girls that are a million times worse than vtubers. Glass houses and all, yknow. But I understand where the stigma comes from and like I said, im disillusioned with vtubers (actually with women as a whole to be fair) too except for my oshi

Humans are social beings. Of course I need to share common interests. I'm not usually a "pack animal" but being alone all the time hurts.

There are, but I don't know how to socialize properly so I just avoid making an ass of myself and just stay inside my own bubble. I have many limitations and disorders concerning my social skills. Even posting here takes a lot out of me.

That's an odd question. I'm pretty sure that's just an instinct most people share, the drive to find similar minded people to group with. It's a survival thing I think.

Not really. I'd prefer if you didn't. If anything it makes me feel angrier at myself for being so fucking pathetic, but on the other hand, covid made me realize not many people can handle isolation so I feel a little bit proud of myself for enduring. So don't feel bad for me, there are a lot of people in worse conditions, many even browse here.
