anybody who watches streamers/vtubers here?
explain yourself
>>82111075 (OP)i used to watch this vtuber named Midas, i was obsessed with watching her vods but i never caught her actual stream.
>explain yourselfi dont know? male loneliness crisis or sumthin
>>82111075 (OP)I put on some speedrunners as background noise when watching a show or movie feels like too much effort. Which is most of the time.
>>82111075 (OP)i watch hasan piker sometimes
>>82111186why?
>>82111136why do you need the background noise?
>>82111075 (OP)No but I watch one lets player.
>>82111229>why?idk man. i do it when im bored and i sometimes like watching his streams after work. i don't do it regularly.
>>82111229I don't need it. I do like silence. Speedruns are simply low in the order of media by attention/effort required, so I do it more often to pass the time:
Music < 4chan < Speedruns < Anime < TV Shows < Movies < Manga < Books
>>82111229>why do you need the background noise?People talk and it makes my blood boil hearing their muffled voices.
>>82111075 (OP)I watch vtubers but I mostly only watch clips and reactions.
>explain yourselfSome of them are quite entertaining and watching them makes me feel less alone.
>>82111391>watching them makes me feel less aloneanswer I was waiting for
mind elaborating on that?
>>82111361that actually sounds terrible, especially if you live in an apartment block

>>82111442>mind elaborating on that? Not much to elaborate on. It just gives me an illusion that I'm hanging out with a friend or something.
I have no one to share my interests or chat with so it feels nice to pretend I have a friend.

Im bored and im lonely, thats why. No, I dont donate, never have never will. I also dont keep up as well with her, but I try to watch a full stream at least once a week. Admittedly at first I also "didnt get it" until I found this vtuber I liked, people external to it are under a few misconceptions "oh shes not gonna fuck/marry/suck you bro" yeah I know, obviously. But I still watch her because I like her, its that simple.
Last months have made me reconsider streamers in general though, first the roachking is clearly an Israel and glowie spokesman. Then vtubers, wew, a lot of shit has happened so far in 2025
>Gura graduating and being petty about overlapping timeslots with Cover and ex-genmates. Woman moment
>Fauna-Nimi cucking her fans, again
>Vshojo imploding
>Sinder scandal
>a handful of smaller ones bringing drama, one "4chan" themed or something like that grifter whore chud pandering found to be dating a black guy
As you can see, its a shitshow. But my quasioshi generally stays out of trouble, ignores drama and is quite good at keeping her private life private, so I dont get too Gosling'y with her, and she is unironically hardworking, well more than the average vtuber at least. She entertains me and I find her funny. Idk. But yeah, im lonely ig. Dont judge me..
>>82111535do you need to share your interests with anyone?
is there no group on the internet that is centered around them?
and is the streamer actually responding to you personally?
>>82111551What's enterntaining about the streamers?
>Dont judge me..you'll be forgotten the moment I close this tab
>>82111595>you'll be forgotten the moment I close this taSeems pointless to ask the question or for anyone to answer then. Have you considered killing yourself instead?
>>82111643there's a misunderstanding
I'll forgot you specifically (esp since you're anonymous) but I am trying to remember your explanation
this was about the "don't judge me part", it's simply not personal
>>82111595>What's enterntaining about the streamers?I like their content? Maybe you think all of them just play videogames, most do but some are "variety" and do other sort of content, basically anything that can be streamed
>drawing>cooking>composing music>irl/fleshposting>even coding>some have pretty active communities that include all the previously mentioned and more>you'll be forgotten the moment I close this tabSounds a bit mean to be honest
>>82111643This
>>82111682Im just a bit defensive because this board and other anons act like watching streamers is the worst, when theyre in discord servers full of e-girls that are a million times worse than vtubers. Glass houses and all, yknow. But I understand where the stigma comes from and like I said, im disillusioned with vtubers (actually with women as a whole to be fair) too except for my oshi
>>82111595>>82111705Oh and obviously, the strictly entertaining part about it is the novelty of it.
>>82111705>Sounds a bit mean to be honestbelieve me or not but this way I was trying to tell noone is going to be judged
>these hobbies listedI think I'm starting to get it. Thank you.
>>82111570>do you need to share your interests with anyone?Humans are social beings. Of course I need to share common interests. I'm not usually a "pack animal" but being alone all the time hurts.
>is there no group on the internet that is centered around them? There are, but I don't know how to socialize properly so I just avoid making an ass of myself and just stay inside my own bubble. I have many limitations and disorders concerning my social skills. Even posting here takes a lot out of me.
>and is the streamer actually responding to you personally? No, I don't actually interact with them.
good way to waste time before bed and easily fall asleep
>>82111740>Of course I need to share common interests.I see. Do you have any explanation for that? For example does sharing hobbies give you an identity
>but being alone all the time hurts.I feel this question is going to cause some misunderstandings, but would you feel better if I told you I feel sorry for you?
>There are, but I don't know how to socialize properly so I just avoid making an ass of myself and just stay inside my own bubble.my only advice is the useless one, sorry
>Even posting here takes a lot out of me.I'm thankful for your effort
>>82111075 (OP)I watch clips of them rather than full streams
Also I jack off to porn of them
>>82111790>Do you have any explanation for that? For example does sharing hobbies give you an identityThat's an odd question. I'm pretty sure that's just an instinct most people share, the drive to find similar minded people to group with. It's a survival thing I think.
>would you feel better if I told you I feel sorry for you?Not really. I'd prefer if you didn't. If anything it makes me feel angrier at myself for being so fucking pathetic, but on the other hand, covid made me realize not many people can handle isolation so I feel a little bit proud of myself for enduring. So don't feel bad for me, there are a lot of people in worse conditions, many even browse here.
>my only advice is the useless one, sorryStill, I appreciate the thought. And not just outright calling me a faggot.
>I'm thankful for your effortAnytime. It's nice to have a non-hostile conversation for once.
