I think its funny that mainstream society has collectively rebranded all forms of revolt against the current global social order as "toxic masculinity" or something equally dangerous. So fight club was about toxic masculinity, the internet being the wild west was a bad thing, the matrix was actually about trannies, and anything telling men to pursue an identity that isn't grounded in mainstream values is for incels. At least, according to the modern mainstream media. And everyone, including those disenfranchised men and the right that supposedly aligns with them, has drunk the kool aid.
It's sad to see that the last little bits of stubbornness were successfully quenched like this. I really had high hopes that someone would create an alternative society for the people that didn't fall for propaganda but, unfortunately, it seems like no one was immune to propaganda. Why did no one care enough to fight back? Why are we watching society slip ever more into a state of paranoid security, safety, and surveillance, without anyone pushing back? Why did the tyler durdens and ted kakzynskis of the world end up getting nowhere and leaving behind no legacy, except a world ever the more convinced that squishing a mans free spirit like a bug is good, and just, and the best thing for humanity?
