>>82135983 (OP)>get arrested for smuggling gpusWell... what's the problems with that?
- A prison sentence, for sure, but it won't take the rest of your life.
- Not like there's going to be whistleblowers who come out of the woodwork to antagonize you beyond
- Probably can't travel outside of the country you reside in... oh well unless you live in a shithole.
- Probably jeopardize your credibility in getting into certain jobs and career paths.
- People might be skeptical of what you do, but not inherently hateful or negative about you. Some might even think what you do is cool.
>approach a girl and say "hi" to herAnd with that?
- Maybe less risky if you have any amount of social awareness, but if accused of anything scandalous, prison sentences could be drastic.
- Others might be encouraged to join the whistleblower bandwagon if that happens, since publicity is one hell of a drug.
- More likely can't travel even outside of the state/province you're in if you're convicted, might be constantly monitored if you're ever able to be freed.
- Definitely jeopardize your ability to get into pretty much EVERY job and career path, REGARDLESS of if the charges may be dropped or not.
- People are ALWAYS skeptical of your every move, and many likely will never even attempt to give you a chance. Almost everyone will see you as a sick monster.
While one is most definitely illegal and the other most definitely isn't, the problem is that both have a chance to blow up, and one of them is a fucking nuke compared to a couple pounds of TNT being the other. And when there are definitely groups of women who will admit that their willingness to accuse people of heinous things falsely can be determined JUST by something as fickle as your hairline... it starts to make sense why someone would prefer to smuggle GPUs.
