I was reading Genesis 2:18 in Hebrew and it said "It is not good for the man to be alone" and I asked God, "Did you mean that?" The next week, I got asked out by a woman at church and we got married the year after that

I met my wife by responding to her convention meetup thread on a my little pony nsfw forum. We stood in the badge line at a brony con together and then basically spent the whole con together including a hookup. We got married after dating for like 7 years and living together for 5 of those because I switched to a different job and the health insurance required more paperwork to get her on my plan if we weren't married. Also saved tens of thousands of dollars per year filing jointly because she has no income and I have a lot of income. I wanted to spend my life with her because we're a great match and I enjoy her in many ways.

Asked out my wife after hanging out with her and a few mutual friends for 2-3 years. I asked her out because I wasn't sure if I was attracted to her or not, figured if we went on a date then I'd know. Our first date was the best day of my life, and I fell for her pretty quickly afterwards.
