How's this year been going for you? Any major changes so far?

What's the worse thing that happened to you this year? What's the most exciting thing that you experienced this year?

What's one thing you want to change or do before this year is over?

Pretty good actually

>What's the worse thing that happened to you this year?
My ex started talking to me again and it is tiresome but basically she has a shit life and i feel bad for her so i dont want to block her.
But really she's just attention whoring every single day..
Also it is pretty clear i can't fuck her so i dont even know why i still deal with this shit.

>What's the most exciting thing that you experienced this year?
Decided to finally start working for a different company, better pay, less hours and an upgrade in position.
For me this was a major step because i was at my current employer for too long being too comfortable not achieving anything just doing the bare minimum without any prospects or huge pay rise.

Try to quit smoking, do more sports besides deadlifting and getting fat

I stopped hoping so Im doing okay, just stagnant socially.

>Worst thing
My father had a mental breakdown and decided organized crime was after him, I ended up having to call the police on him to get him out of my house. Haven't spoken since.

>Most exciting
Im starting to think the girl I like also likes me. Based on our last two interactions, I think shes been treating me less like a customer. Im just hoping I run into her outside of her job so I can get rejected and move on.

>Want to change
Pay off debt.

Better than the last. Lost 60lb. Foolishly permitted myself to fall in love. Also abandoned a toxic community I had been part of for a decade.
>What's the worse thing that happened to you this year?
Allowing myself to be heartbroken, that or my mother telling me that she does not want to see me ever again - probably the first, my capacity to feel anything for my mother waned half a lifetime ago.
>What's the most exciting thing that you experienced this year?
For a fleeting moment, believing that I had found a genuine life partner - a woman I could marry, not just spend time with knowing it wouldnt go anywhere. That hope still stings, but it is fading away now. Last time things fizzled out with us I held out hope and behaved nobly - this time I freaked the fuck out and debased myself. There wont be a third time
>What's one thing you want to change or do before this year is over?
Lose another 40lb. Overcome my anxious attachment style. Get a better job. Find the strength to let my mother go without feeling agonising guilt.
