i regularly neglect my BPDemon gf and ignore her panic attacks when she tries to text me when she has them and i consider myself a good person

in otherwords you must withdraw your love for her as a punishment when she does anything to test you. make her believe your love for her is conditional, even if its not, she must believe it is.

im in a similar situation to you, it took me 3 years to realize that my gf probably wont ever get better and now that im signalling that our relationship's basically at death's door shes saying shes sorry for everything and that she'll improve it all and this and that. if your gf is making progress thats good but the thing you have to look out for is when the progress stops.
