ie they don't find them attractive. Again, I don't get the point. Why demand them to put up with what they don't want? Why are we not telling ourselves to do the same with women? I didn't settle and my life is better for it, some of my friends did and they are already facing bad breaks ups/divorce because it turns out settling just means you get resentful or worse in the relationship.

It's a lot easier to get angry than to accept that you lost. Everyone wants someone attractive but most people aren't attractive.
