How can someone be religious in the current year of 2025? Especially those in developed Western countries. Is it some grand coping mechanism? Is it because most people are still brainwashed from their youth and now they're too invested in the idea of God/a god existing?

Because Christendom saved Europe and therefore white people multiple times. Moreover, it has become too ingrained in European culture and morals. But a kike demon like you wouldn't understand. It also guides peoples into living a better life and preserve the white race. Dumb people don't self reflect, they don't seek truth, they don't question a damn thing. Someone told them when they were five that there's ghosts in the sky and they will always believe that's true. Also the average idiot craves conformity and belonging, so if everyone around them is religious they'll be religious too. Not because they believe it necessarily but because they want fake friends and a sensation of being part of some kind of community however stupid it is.

If you spent ten minutes thinking about the validity of any religion, you wouldn't be religious anymore. Or hell, just look at your own religion from the perspective of looking at someone else's religion. No Christian looks at a Hindu ceremony and goes, "Yeah, that's fine and very comparable to my own religion." they say, "What the fuck is this bullshit nonsense with goofy characters and magic stories?" Your second paragraph is a big reason that I became atheist and why I will likely never be religious again. Every civilization has had their own religion or mythology to explain the world's creation and why the world is the way it is. Why should I believe Christianity over Greek mythology? Over Shinto? Over whatever the fuck? It and Islam are the most popular but that doesn't inherently make it correct.
