Is it really revisionist if Frank himself agrees? He moved away from shock content and more towards his music as he grew and matured. Makes sense to me that his more immature content is all from when he was younger. Pretty sure he's grown as an artist and would openly agree with OP nowadays.

I was just on the edge of finding him a little bit funny during those early daya but he was very loud and obnoxious most of the time and I couldn't get into it. I was already too old for that type of humor.
