Not for most. Most boomers learned as they went. Now, unless you are a jeet willing to work like a slave, you got to gave 4 years post high school technical training, 2 years of unpaid interships (and buy 5 houses on no income during that time) and working there as your third unpaid internship, then it's not happening.

is it actually hard finding a job for you guys? i was unemployed for 1 year n a half and when i actually started applying and trying to get a job i got one pretty quick. i got a interview and they hired me, maybe because its entree level and they would hire anybody but its still a job thankfully

literally just building maintenance/grounds/facilities jobs. absolute grunt work that i have extensive experience in, apartment complexes and office buildings and shit. i can't imagine how bad it is for people with actual valuable skills.
