It didn't it was a gradual fall. I remember TTG always airing and progressively more sloppy shows with fewer and fewer bangers after that.

Tangentially related, but I often use the redesign of CN in 2010 as a checkpoint for the passage of time. It still feels "new" to me, but then I realize there are people on this board who don't even remember this transition.
