Strange as in unexplainable. For example maybe you get sick for no reason, feel temperature changes or more abstract things like spines under your flesh or feel like parts of you are burning or squirming. Some people with alexithymia will describe emotional situations in physical terms like being electrocuted or etc. but without connecting the physicality to an actual emotion.
