Dropped off a $500 package in the USPS box. Having anxiety that it somehow doesn't get scanned cause it's been a day and no scan. I've never lost a package through USPS after so many shipments though.

I've lost $500+ through a UPS box, they pretty much allowed people to somehow steal from until they removed it. I think they're less secure and the legal punishment isn't as high as stealing actual mail.

In the future for expensive stuff you should go to the actual post office that way you can get a receipt.
