Daily Salvation Thread
>God will never leave me nor forsake me
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Hey, I'd like to ask for you guys' input
I'm not a Christian per se, but I've been exposed to a lot of Christ-like ideas

What do you guys think of this story?
Let me hear your thoughts

Nice story. I think it does well to exemplify something about the life of Christ too. Just because the religious authority doesn't accept you doesn't mean you are not righteous

Reminds me of the plot to tannhauser sort of (being rejected by the priests wrongfully and still blessed by God), or for something from the bible, the parable of the Good Samaritan.

However, even a life dedicated wholly to doing good combined with even one sin and unbelief will land you in hell, otherwise there would have been no need for Christ to die. Because it's impossible for men to justify themselves through good deeds, God sent Christ to take the punishment for sin that everyone earns to themselves, therefore I cannot agree to the moral of your story.
There's an m dash in there, did you generate this with AI?

It is AI, I posited a question about that Builder and it regaled me a story
I'm not wholly opposed to AI tbf, everything has its use - just use it considerably

I don't know if I'm being delusional or what but I place myself in the shoes of the Builder
Again, not Christian but idk man, it feels like I'd rather live by me and in knowing what I am rather than live a life of lies

There's been plenty of pious outsiders in Christianity. Moses, for example, lived the majority of his life alone in the woods.

What's important is that you accept Christ, know God, and seek a relationship with Him. Everything else is secondary.

I see, regarding living a life of lies, I myself trust the bible, but disagree with many "cultural doctrines" (things Christians commonly believe that are not in the bible), being a Christian doesn't mean a slavish adherence to a mob or organization, you can go to heaven without ever entering a church (Romans 4:5).
If I didn't believe the bible was 100% true, I wouldn't be a Christian.
If the bible is true, justifying yourself through good deeds like the builder won't work, it all goes down to what you believe in, and what you believe in all goes down to what you've heard (romans 10:13-4).

Phrased it way better than I could.
