My dad took my life savings away to pay for my grandparents' house, else it'd get repossesed
That was 8 years ago, and now that grandad's dead, dad's dead, and grandma's dying, it seems like it was all in vain anyway
My uncle's gonna go sell the house when she dies
My mom leeched off of me for years, again my savings + my salary
She didn't have to, her family's rich, but some demented idea in her says that sons should always take care of their mother, and I did
Again, all in vain, because she's rich herself and she just got a settlement of about $100k from the govt for my dad's death
That's just the financial side of things, we're not even into the gritty details
Dad was obese and diabetic, but during his later years it got worse and worse
I went to college but I had to stay home since I had to help take care of him, and on my day's off I'd have to drive him to the hospital for his appointments
I had nothing, I have nothing, anon - all I did, I did for him, and then he died
He died during peak Covid years, but I was the one who got Covid so I didn't even get to go to his funeral
Here is a man I took care of for 5 fucking years; I bathed him, I changed his diapers, I sacrificed my life for him and I couldn't even see him to his end
End. And I thought his ending meant my beginning, but I was wrong.
After his funeral, and me still with Covid, I infected my family
the majority of us were asymptomatic, but my mom had it bad, needed an oxygen tank and everything
While in the hospital, they discovered two things wrong with her body
There was a tumor in her ovaries, and her heart didn't "work right" - something about her mithral valve, about it not opening and closing properly that her have breathing difficulties
So, now I have to take care of her, and my family too since everyone else was still in school and I'm the "Man of the house" now
I'm actually at the hospital right now, anon
Sorry for the late reply
