Same, just been doing it for only 10 years. But I'm OCD about it and organize it into folders and with tags in the JPEGs or directly into the filename for videos. I also have a very weird fetish that involves clothing so I probably have the biggest database of women wearing a certain type of clothing in a certain situation. I literally get fap content from random social media profiles. I have photos of IG foids with less than 200 followers.
And all of it is backed up every week in 2 locations. Sometimes I do a more thorough backup where I use software to hash the files and make sure there's been no data corruption.
Currently have about 300GB but I have another 300GB I still have to sift through and tag. All the 600GB is backed up.

People talk about online information and digital information like it's eternal but it's actually very volatile, temporary and disappears all the time. My mother was complaining a year ago after she broke her iphone and lost all her pictures except what she put on fb. I noticed Myspace purged it's photos and information from profiles before 2016 blaming a server crash. People's laptops and hard drives and desktops fail all the time. Since the 1990s when sharing data became prominent imagine all the temporary human culture that has come and gone lost forever. Books and paper stored properly really are still a more enduring form of information and data storage so far. Digital information hasn't even lasted 50 years yet really.

Ive also recently re-sorted and purged my media collection. Half of which is basically porn.
