>>82192782 (OP) When is the last time you've actually found a new person on streetpass? I play my 3DS almost every day, but I don't think I've come across anyone in years.
>>82192938 It depends. If you go to a comic con or a video game movie then you might get lucky.

>>82192938 There's a app for modded 3ds called NetPass, that basicly spoofs the streetpass process over the internet, so you can get streetpasses that way from other people who are in the same virtual spot as you
>>82192782 (OP) I have a 3DS, might try this for frens. StreetPass was so underrated, wish the Switch had something similar.

>>82192782 (OP) I miss streetpass. I think Apple and Google should implement some sort of streetpass-like system into later visions of iOS and Android. It'd be fun.
I still have my 3DS around here somewhere. Wonder if it still turns on. Last time I turned it on was 2019 and the 3D slider was malfunctioning. Very unfortunate since I learned that that's unfixable.
>>82195925 It would be fun but security and public perception take precedent. Airdrop was fun while it lasted, but people complained about harassing images being sent, and now it's turned off by default. You can't even turn it for more than 10 minutes, completely neutered.
>>82195993 actually the CCP didn't like people sharing stuff in protests so they kindly asked for it to be neutered. People complaining is always a front. Same with payment processors etc
