would you rather wake up at 3pm and go home at 12am in the middle of the night? 9-5 means you still have time to do shit before the biological urge to sleep kicks in (humans are NOT night owls. you're sleep schedule is just fucked). I hate boomers more than most people but they're right about this schedule at least. if your society needs most people working 8 hours a day to maintain it, this is a good one

the trick is to get a job where a supervisor isnt up your ass. i work at a non-profit and they are so inept, they've put HR in charge of IT. I regularly show up 15-20 mins late, take extra long lunches, and even clock out from home after my commute. Never have I once been asked to explain myself.
