i just had sleep paralysis and i thought that shit was fake because im 27 and never had it before today. i fell asleep with my glasses on and woke up and i misinterpreted the glasses frame in the corner of my eye as a girls face so it probably startled me and caused a vision because i saw a girl flopping on the bed right after. i knew it was fake so i thought i was in a dream so i tried pinching and slapping myself in the face but i didnt move so i thought i was doing it in real life but not the dream but then i woke up like a minute later so it wasnt a dream. im very unsettled

get a quartz crystal for protection and keep it in your room

the first time sleep paralysis happened to me, i wasnt even asleep

i was wide awake, just laying on my bed

and then BOOM, it just hit me out of no where with a ringing in my ears

then i couldnt move or speak

and this intense dread of dying overcame me

the whole episode lasted for no more than 20 seconds, but it felt much longer

i swear i felt an evil presence in my room while it was happening
