I used to consider people who predicted apocalypse during covid and the beggining of russo ukrainian war idiots. Well not in such an arrogant manner but I saw what they did as unnecessary and could not understand the sentiment.
But honestly lately_ namely last month I am having a consistent premonition that something big is collapsing soon. I feel the need to download all internet resources I ever found interesting and save them on some drive. I want to collecting living stuff like lighters and tissue(it can be used for filtering water) and long term food, to stack up on solar batteries and gas. Its not even like I'm thinking about it a lot there is just this inner voice telling that I better start doing this shit.
To be honest its quite freaky...

there's not really going to be a huge cinematic collapse in the west, it's just going to be shit getting more expensive gradually, supply chain failures making it so you can't get your funkopops, more niggers, spics, muslims, localized rioting, trust eroding even more than it currently has, political splintering, etc

I mean they are already tightening all screws. Its true that collapse is slow progress, but some essentials are gonna be snacthed from under your nose without you really paying attention. For example, the ownerships of games. Not just officially but a lot pirating resources are also struggling and abruptly ending themselves. My friends from russia got phonecalls through apps cut off. Every social media is becoming more and more obnoxious to be on, making searching any relevant information impossible.
Now talking about general life, out quality of life has been actively decreasing in last five years. Everything is becoming more and more unstable and unusable. Literal bus tickets and driving licences are getting gatekept with obnoxious apps and adds, and one day you may find that you can no longer keep up with all the new bullshit they make up to make life harder.
I feel like we are around 100 steps away from becoming completely enslaved.

Nothing ever happens anon. You should know this by now. Even the war in ukraine is a nothingburger. It's a very localized proxy conflict where russians are sloooooowly advancing and now the war is just about seeing who can shit out more of those cringy FPV drones to send them forward and move the line on the map by two centimeters. I was promised total collapse during covid, I was promised a cool dystopia... and yet nothing happened. As always. It's all so boring.
