Sorry I meant UNIRONICALLY. Drinking water helps brain health. You will have worse mental issues when you are dehydrated.

Also coffee, soda, juice is not hydrating at the same rate as water and can actually dehydrate because of energy cost it takes to process through the body. I hate plain water too but it is needed.
