The problem is that women have made it way too obvious that 90% of men do not have even the slightest chance to have sex with them. Nothing about women has changed bioloically, but socially it has become acceptable to treat 90% of men like complete shit, so men have become demoralized. Society has become a lot more brutally honest about who women are attracted to and who they aren't, and that has caused these male frustrations to boil over. We simply can not cope with the fact that 90% of us are unattractive, it is something that women have to start faking again or else society will implode. Women do not HAVE to have sex with all men, but they need to convince most of them that it is at least a POSSIBILITY, or else men are completely done with trying to do anything at all, the situation is hopeless and any effort is completely wasted.

Underwear is private, bikini is public. That's like your street clothes vs home clothes. You don't want the whole world to see you in your lazy home clothes, even though it's also just pants and shirt. A woman buys and wears underwear with a different intention than a bikini.
