there was a guy a few months ago going by NegativeSMV posting a thread on here of an approach every day. he said he would do a full year of approaches but stopped around the 10th day or so, hopefully he's doing alright. the final redpill is that approaching strangers is indeed a terrible way to meet people or make friends or get a girlfriend. the only good reason to approach strangers is to improve your social skills, your ability to carry a conversation, and your social courage/confidence.
your baseline charisma WILL increase if you get good at talking to literally anyone (not just hot girls, but old people and random guys in line at the store). point out some random thing and ask them about it.
the only reason to approach strangers is to develop outcome independence, train your social muscles. you should see it as a long game for your improvement only, not with an end goal of getting laid or whatever. this baseline charisma you develop will translate to other areas, including your job and the actual social events where meeting people is the stated goal.
