I believe you. Most women will not approach unless you're extremely good-looking. I'm 6'2'', slim/fit, not balding and I've had several women show interest in me. But because I don't know how to flirt and am too scared to approach, nothing happened and likely never will. In most societies, the burden is on the man to make the first move. If you're risk-averse and don't know how to talk to women, you're going to get nothing, even if you look good.
But at least my looks seem to help in other areas of my life. I have no issues passing job interviews and everyone respects me by default. And yea, I've never been desperate. I'm introverted and kinda like my solitude. That's probably also a factor in why I'm a wizard. I never felt the need to fight my social anxiety around women and I have no regrets.

the self improvement was for me a spiral into insanity. In the end I just kept making up shit as to what is holding me back from getting a girlfriend. I used expensive skincare products, brushed my teeth 3x a day, flossed religiously, got my hair trimmed every 3 weeks, worked out, measured my waist - every I was grooming as if I'm going on a date. But always when I went out to some bars (but never developed a game or guts to approach) I see there men who are shorter, greasy, balding, fucked up teeth, yellow stained fingers and mustaches from smoking ... with decent looking women underneath their arm. I'm a pretty boy type and will probably hit the wall, and it drives me insane that I'm so paralyzed in what are essentially my prime years.

My scout says I have a classic look, that works for comercial stuff but not for high fashion, those usually look weird af. He says I look like Henry Cavill (I really dont see it). Some friends said I look like Mike Ruffalo in the Hulk movie. I think that one is much closer.

Can someone tell me how many rejections is the average man supposed to rank up before getting a date or relationship? I have no idea how this works, because on one had I always had female orbiters (who were either not my type, and if they were they were too young for me), but despite this "attention" if I went out and approached a woman I ended up getting friendzoned.
