Why does the amircans combine the toilet and the shower in the same room can't a man enjoy a shower without having a neighbour

It's easier to plumb because you can have the waste running down the same pipe.
Also you can hop into the shower without wiping

Nobody needs 2 toilets and if there's just one the two seperate rooms are usually really crammed.

You can use the shower head to help flush the toilet and if you happen to drop a turd in the shower you can just pick it up and throw it into the toilet without leaving the shower.
