If it wasn't 2018, then 2012-14.

I was at the seaside town, but I don't think I set foot on the sand that time.
The relative who had a home there, and took me there, has since died. Went there a bunch in the 90s. Very nostalgic.
As a poorfag, it's almost certain that I will never get to go back there; unless another (distant) relative wants their ashes spread near there.
I turn 39 this week.

Me as well im quiet poor plus to self conscious about my body to go swimming. Plus I live near lots of lakes then ocean so waters tend to be murky and awful looking in my experience. I would understand going to beach if I lived in Florida or cali but in Minnesota its not my cup of tea.

Well I never did more than paddle and never wore beach-wear there since the 90s. This place is more than four hours of expensive travel away.
My 10s trips were mostly just seeing the old place again, so I probably walked part of the actual beach, as well as the road that ran along it.
I live in a large gentrified-but-shit city that's over an hour away from any other beaches by train.
Yet train rides are expensive, and seaside towns are expensive. Forget about finding a cheap hotel either. Feels bad, man.

Swimming? Like a year ago at a lake. The beach? Haven't seen it since like 2008. I don't live near the ocean.

What the fuck is wrong with you recluses? I went swimming just yesterday and almost every day this whole summer. Get out the house and into the water.

I went to Warren Dunes in Michigan a couple of years ago. Pretty much just climbed the dunes and went swimming.

Looks like me when I was a young man. Now I am old and wrinkled. Time comes for us all.

Probably a few years ago at a family member's house, they live on a lake. I grew up terrified of swimming and the water and it was amplified because I was fat and didn't like taking my shirt off.
