Sometimes, I'm glad I didn't major STEM and/or work in an office. I don't think I'm actually cut out for the office-scene, and with the advent of AI, I can at least say it'll be another 10 years or so before my position at the warehouse is threatened by clankers.

I'm glad I majored in STEM. I get paid above average for sitting in front of a PC for a fixed 8h a day in an air conditioned office. Most of the days I don't actually work for more than 2h combined. And because I sometimes have to help people in the warehouse with small tasks, I'm unlikely to be replaced by AI.
Also, while being among normies can be annoying, I am able to dissociate and ignore them at will. Or just put on some noise cancelling headphones.

There are a few women in there, I'm sure. The real funny part is how there's a "Black Lives Matter" poster prominently posted on the wall, yet not a single black life in that room.

It may sound like a cope, but I realize that it isn't pre-2019 anymore. Not that I wouldn't take such a position (emotional baggage notwithstanding), but I don't think it would pay as much as I currently make.

I have to ignore them *without* headphones/earbuds.
