I'm 30 and I don't care. I've been mentally stunted since high school and know most high school kids are more emotionally developed than me.

High school slice of life has been dreadfully boring to me for quite a long time, anon. It's a fully explored genre.

I guess this is why i never became an animefag

I hate anything relating to school, I dont want to be reminded of that shit, and it seems like 90% of your animefag shows are set in that shit

Not for me. Even when I was 15 what anime characters or Japanese people go through at 15 is vastly different than what I went through.

They're obsessed with the setting, it's honestly made a lot of manga/anime stale because the editors tell the mangaka to make it a high school story "because that's where all the adventure happens in youth and adults doing that is weird"
The problem is they make this slop so often it's tiresome. That and isekai ruining fantasy genre.
I don't even hate that the characters are young these settings are just played out and played out again for the sake of the same bad joke with an overly long title.
Any anime that only takes place in school is practically unwatchable it's why one piece and dragon ball z are still popular. They're going everywhere but fucking school.

I agree, even at 22 I hate watching this kind of anime. It reminds me of what my highschool life could have been if I were a normalfag and I that's why I hate it.
