It's worse than that. When a human and an African reproduce, it's more like 65IQ + 100IQ and the outcome is a black with 70-75 IQ (it tends towards the lower, the genes for intelligence in homo sapiens are recessive and getting half of them doesn't give you half the boost to intelligence).
In the case of an African American (who all have white admixture already) they generally already have an IQ in the range 70-85, so when they mate with a European you get lighter brown people with IQ in the range 80-90 and sometimes without the primitive ape nose. These are the types you'll see pushed in the media and in universities, companies etc. They often have more white than black ancestry, because because the genes for skin colour and hair types are recessive, they tend to look "black" still and identify as such.
