The reason people who mock charlie kirk's death are despised is because he was killed obviously over political beliefs and was generally an upstanding man that had a wife and children. He didn't do anything people in society deem wrong except express unpopular opinions.
Contrast this however with George floyd's death. He was a crackhead criminal. Did he deserve to die? No, but his moral character wasn't great and everyone knows it and the only reason he was put in that situation is because of a police altercation. The details can be debated all day long but those are the facts.
People mocking goerge floyd were also despised by most people at first
