He was the most cog cog to ever exist, by far and away the most replaceable right wing talking head, so its really freakin odd that hes being used for such a swift crackdown on left wingers. I mean fuck Ive already been harassed multiple times about it at my job because Im a known leftist and I dont even use SM with accounts, nor do I talk about right wingers irl, just the occasional mention of theory. Yet Ive still been very pointedly asked 'so what do you think of what happened' by coworkers.
It comes across as very 'you better damn well have the right opinions on this or else' but wayyyy more than muh leftist cancel culture ever did.
It does genuinely feel like a change in the tempature of the water but its just so bizzare that it was Kirk that caused it of all people because hes just so utterly unremarkable. The outrage feels absolutely manufactured down to the very lowest levels of conservatives where they have the perfect thing to handwring about despite none of them actually caring whatsoever.

It was an AI construct meant to sow discord and make young whites angry.
