tried to take a young severely autistic girl under my wing and protect her from bullies at summer camp. everyone else there rejected me because i always had the weird autistic little girl with me, spent the whole camp with only the company of this 10 year old girl. she had constant tantrums and spent the entire last day when i was about to leave sobbing and clinging to me, had to be pried off of me. my parents laughed when they were picking me up and saw this.
tried to help a different autistic kid at my school once by telling him that his "friends" were actually bullying him and he just couldnt tell. he refused to believe it and told them i said that, so they started to bully me as well.
uh what else. once at my old job a little kid threw up all over himself and i took him inside, changed him into fresh clothes, washed his face and hands, tried to make him feel better etc and my boss yelled at me for changing his clothes without another employee supervising. which is sort of understandable (its a rule to prevent sexual abuse) but no one else was cleaning him up, i think they intended to send him home still covered in vomit and crying.
