I was somewhat lucky because I had a bridge for the top middle and the bottom 2 middle were relatively healthy all things considered so I could eat somewhat. I lost a couple teeth while eating food though, had to hide it from the people I was eating with lol. Been without any teeth for a few months now and luckily I haven't choked on anything yet.

My wife lost her teeth because of suboxone wafers she had good teeth too. Doesnt bother me at all

For me it was depression and being suicidal. Why brush my teeth if i'm rotting in bed? Probably stemmed from something deeper though. I grew up with 2 older sisters and getting the bathroom before school/bed was such a pain in the ass and I am non confrontational. Combine that with the canker sores that plagued me when I was younger not being as frequent when I didn't brush and I think that caused it.

i think some people are just born with shit genetics because I bedrotted for a little over half a decade, with soda and certainly sugar most of the time, and had not a single cavity coming out of it
also, non-fluoridated well water too for quite a bit of that time when I was NEETing it up
the only thing that's fucked up about my mouth is a crown on my front tooth from tripping face first when I was a teen
it's a slightly different color at this point but I tell the dentist I don't give a fuck and he says everything is good

Dentists will do anything for extra money. They will drill deeper than the cavity so you have to get a root canal and crown in a future time. You cant claim malpractice because they make you sign a form on a tablet before they even do work. It's calculated and evil. I had perfect teeth in 2019

I also did pretty much everything bad for my teeth apart from hard drugs, It was totally self inflicted. I drank, smoked cigs and weed and guzzled soda. I'm probably diabetic even though I'm a healthy BMI, I haven't gotten a physical in years and I still haven't checked the results of the bloodwork for the surgery I have next week.

Like how do you get such bad teeth? It takes less then 5 minutes to clean them, most of my teeth are fine and I have sensitive gums. So the answer is no.
