Not a big fan of coffee or tea and I don't own a kettle; most of the time I boil water is in a pot. The only time I take the gremlin route is if I'm making a Quaker instant breakfast; but since I consider that a cold weather comfort food and I now live in Florida, I don't do it very often.

it's been a while since I cared about jungian functions, but recently I've started doing a lot more self reflection and I've had a startling realisation

back when I underaged shit I was very Ti-Ne dominant, I relied a lot "mental computation" to think about things and almost not on intution at all, except to find new ideas/continue exploring my mental space. Now, 10 years later, I feel like I use Ni a lot more

like for example, if you gave me a maths puzzle in the past I'd rigorously apply different conjectures and proofs that I had learned and run a mental heuristic search until I found a working method, nowadays I find that I can just look at different parts of the problem and jump straight to end without needing to know the exact rule I used to work out parts of the problem, then I can work backwards and prove that my own solutions works.

Same goes when I idealy philosophize about the world around me, in the past thinking was very wordy and branching, nowadays I feel like I often just generate deep, moving impressions insights out of nowhere and then work backwards to check that's consistent and sound

Jung said that the psyche seeks balance and so the shadow functions differentiate as one ages, I always thought Jungain functions was bullshit, so I'm suprised to have noticed it within myself, I genuinely feel like this Ni (approximation?) is more differentiated than Fe. Likewise as I've grown older and practiced justify my thoughts to others more, my Te has become more differentiated, although like Si, I don't really care for Te beyond meeting my immediate needs, whereas Ti, Ne and now Ni centric thoughts recieve a lot of internal attention.

This is not Jungian intuition. This is thinking. It's pattern recognition, or a sort of heuristic reasoning. Jungian intuition does not jump to conclusions in any way shape or form. It is a mode of perception which observes underlying patterns and possibilities which are not directly observable by the senses.

Now, did your intuition aid you in coming to this conclusion? Almost definitely. But you make no mentions of it, outside of the word "intuition". The intuition you speak of is likely unconscious.
What you speak of in a conscious manner is your own thinking, and your intuition is largely undifferentiated. And the process you are describing seems to be your account of your dominant function, thinking, becoming more mature and differentiated, able to process information fluidly without requiring deliberate, step by step conscious direction.

Or, simply put, you don't need to "manually think" because your thinking function is becoming more developed, and that can seem like intuition.

No, it quite literally, by definition, cannot. Actions come from judgements. It's not possible to act without judgement.
Intuition does not decide, judge, or motivate. It perceives, just like your eyeballs perceive. You can make a judgement based on an intuition, but that's completely separate to what you're saying.

If you think that intuition leads to action in the same sense as thinking, you have a fundamental misunderstanding of what functions are.
