I think you are right about some points.
You are right about the golden age of video games seems to be a thing of the past.
For having this impression I grant you the rank of honorary millennial.
>"trannified"
Where you are wrong is when you, in your frustration, start to blame trans people.
Scapegoating like that is a sign of intellectual weakness and dishonesty, you should avoid such scapegoating going forward for the sake of your own integrity and for the sake of humanity (having intellectual integrity, forming nuanced opinions, staying factual, taking other perspectives into consideration, not compromising on human dignity etc. makes an example that benefits the whole of humanity in the long run.)
Scapegoating entire groups of people itself is stupid, it assumes all individuals who share some trait are the same, it's like saying all painters are bad, just because Hitler was a painter. And that is just one thing wrong and stupid with scapegoating, among many.
>My parents
I doubt your parents ever intended you to feel bad, so I think in this scenario it wasn't trolling.
Life is not always as controllable, as it may seem from the perspective of a young adult thinking about their parents.
>today
Now, the times we live in are not all bad, f.e. humanity now possess great tools like LLMs to search large data bases effectively.
Generating a workable response, it is a great tool to work with, for many things.
> games and niches
Now:
There some open source games you can play, for free even.
Some of them are very niche.
You could tell your favorite LLM what kind of game or niche you are looking for, what experience you want.
I think you'll get some good suggestions. This is how I discovered some cool Open Source games.
Good Luck OP.
