The one I was with for a long time yes I still keep in contact. I told him our dog we adopted together died earlier this year and keep him on tap in case I need weird info from years ago. We were together almost a decade so I think he keeps me on tap for the same reason even though we both have new partners. It's just business I haven't had a real convo with him in years
