Went out for brunch which I find to be the overrated meal in existence, but it's an excuse to have a burger in beers in the morning i guess. Buy first couple volumes of csm part 2 since near the store. Hesitate because feel weird buying manga with school girls on cover(didn't realize till at the shelf) at physical store but "fuck it" do it anyway. I think I have grossly exaggerated my feelings of people looking at me weird for many years now, just sort of clicked in my head toda

>yep because at the time there emerged a belief that a god has to be good
It is interesting what you mentioned, since Greeks kinda had asshole gods, whereas Egyptians had more benevolent ones who cared about people. I think a lot of Greek philosophy, Plato and neo Platonists, came up with ideas of more good natured gods or a god, but Egyptian myths did influence a lot of those cults around the time of Christianity. Mysteries of Isis and cults like that
>I'm not religious at all but I like the history of it how the way people view gods changed
It is pretty interesting from a historical perspective. It's funny because the modern day image of a very human Jesus is also a bit later than all this. Early Christians believed he was fully human and God, but also that he was a bit distant in a way. Whereas the later middle ages with earyl humanism led to the more "human" like depictions of Jesus, whereas old one depict as almost otherworldly and above humans despite being one
I'm done rambling about old religion now! I'm done! I swear it lol

that is't a lot of sleep. Know you're trying real hard to study, but rest and recovery is important too. Don't worry about replying to posts, just take care.
