The basic unit of metal is the riff, which in essence is a repeated melodic phrase. When 3 or more riffs are combined and played on an electric guitar with through a fuzz pedal, metal is created. I think that if you ask women, the most unattractive music for a man to listen to is classical. Ive been playing classical music, performing and going to operas, concert halls, ballets, etc. Ive never met a girl that goes to the opera and likes classical music. Plenty of guys, but the few girls my age i saw there were all there only because their boyfriends were. I was dragged to see Municipal Waste and Cannibal Corpse by my friends. I would agree that the music was not enjoyable but the amount of stunning women there had me questioning things.
